Water Issues

400 million children in developing countries don’t have access to safe water. That’s 1 in 5 children.

Can you imagine if 1 in 5 Australian children couldn’t access clean water? That’s hard to believe isn’t it? It shows how lucky we are in this country.

According to figures from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) each year 443 million school days are lost due to water-related illness.

Children not only get sick but they also miss out on school because they need to collect water for their families walking for several kilometers to the nearest well. This slows education progress and school enrollments and the opportunity for children and their families to earn a better living and end poverty.

So what can we do?

We sell One Water to make a difference.

100% of the profit from One Water helps to fund clean water projects in developing countries, enabling whole communities to benefit from access to safe and clean drinking water.
